Black On Both Sides Episode #137
Kunta needed a “Me” day and decided to take it on the southwest side of LA. Compton, Crenshaw, Little Ethiopia, etc. The Marathon Store was looking more like a swap meet, so he decided to get some soul food. Nothing like some Turkey and Mac ‘n’ Cheese to reset the soul.
Kunta is well on his way to being a better version of himself. You can even hear it in his voice. His self help books and new wake-up regimen has show results. Kunta wants to let the world know. I, on the other hand, do not subscribe to letting the gurus in to my brain to assist in my “Self” improvement.
Self-help is for nothing if you don’t come prepared to finish the race. There may not be everything you need along the way. If all else fails, stick to the motto “Always bring your own juice”.
